Char-Grilled Squash

Grilling zucchini and summer squash gives them a great smoky, charred flavor. And if you've got the grill going for your main course anyway, it's really easy.



Ingredients :

2 zucchini squash

2 yellow squash

2 tablespoons olive oil 

Kosher salt to taste 

Freshly ground black pepper to taste


Instructions :


  • Wash and dry the squash. 
  •  Cut the root ends off and slice the squash lengthwise in 1/2-inch-thick slices.
  •  Lay the squash slices out on a plate and sprinkle them with oil, salt, and pepper. 
  • Place the slices on a very hot grill and cook on both sides until well done, about 10 minutes.
