Ingredients :
1 Kg of chopped meat
1 sliced onion
2 tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
5 tablespoons of olive oil (optional)
200g of carrots
100g of peas
2 potatoes
1 cup of chopped coriander
1 teaspon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of saffron
Salt
And a Tagine
Instructions :
- wash the meat with cold water to make sure there's no blood left on it.
- wash the vegetables then slice them, carrots into small cubes and potatoes into round peaces the same thing with tomatoes round pieces.
- put the Tagine on medium heat, then put the meat with a bit of salt, after that add 3 cups of water let it cook for about 15 minutes before adding the vegetables and spices, let it cook for around 2 hours.
- better to be served as it is inside the Tagine.
Ps : you can use chicken instead of meat if you do so replace the peas with olives.
